Gotham is happy to announce the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Nieves! On a perfect evening overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Gary and Zoe exchanged vows and were married on the beach surrounded by friends and family. Zoe looked fabulous in her white wedding gown as she walked to the Gazebo while being escorted by her father. Gary, as one person exclaimed, looked like a movie star in his Grey and white ensemble. After officially being pronounced "man and wife" they were joined by their little dog for a family shot. After the ceremony, everyone left the beach to party at Breakers on the Ocean. There we had food, fun, poetry and of course, Gotham.

It was a beautiful afternoon in Philly and the Rittenhouse festival was in full swing. Norma Michaels had three of her bands on the main stage; The Alley Cats, Philly Funk Authority and Gotham. The Rittenhouse Festival is a celebration of the beginning of spring and thousands of people walk through the closed streets around Rittenhouse Square to sample foods, listen to great music and shop at the exclusive shops in the area (Dave's daughter Kimberly bought a pair of Coach shoes, 2 dresses and some make-up at Mac )At 12:00,The Alley Cats took to the stage. Allison, the lead singer, invited Dave Scott to join the band to sing some songs. Dave and "Allie" got the crowd pumped up and ready for a great day. At 1:00, Gotham took the stage and showed everybody why they are the "Top Band' in Philadelphia. They played a mix of "Rock n' Soul". that had the crowd, both young and old, 'Dancing in the Streets". Gotham even ran into some of their old friends that they had performed for in the past. The band played under the hot sun for an hour and a half, pushing themselves to the point of dehydration. As usual, Gotham gave everything they had and left nothing back. Everybody loved the band and one person actually booked the band for their wedding in 2008 at the Norma Michaels booth. All in all it was a fun day for friends, family and Philly. We hope to see you there next year!

Zhana, one of Gotham's 2 beautiful and talented singers is a very popular performer on the European Dance music scene. Recently, she performed some of her hit songs in front of thousands of screaming fans in Brazil. Rio was in full party mode when Zhana took the stage and as usual, she didn't disappoint. Showing off her 8 pack abs and trendy, high fashion costumes, Zhana tore the roof off and had her fans screaming for more. Check out these photos taken at the event.

On Friday, September 28th the "Give the Shirt Off Your Back Gala was held at the Hyatt Regengy in Philadelphia. This event brings awareness to Breast and Prostate cancer. Hosted by Shelley Schwartz, the gala was held for their 13th year. This years honoree was Channel 6 Newsman, Gary Papa. Gary, a cancer survivor himself, spoke eloquently and honestly about our ability to eliminate this disease. He said how "your dollar might be the last one needed to complete the research to find the cure". I don't know who did the local news that night because all of the 6ABC news people were there to honor Gary. After the presentations and auctions, the partying began. The room, which was beautifully decorated by our friends at Evantine Design, suddenly turned into a night club as Gotham turned all of these reserved and distinguished guests into sweaty, dancing friends. At the end of the night, Dave and Norma sat back and rested a while with all of the other people that brought this Gala alive and realized that they did a good thing!
